Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or better. In addition, a complete application must include the following information required by the graduate school:

  1. Completion of the USF Graduate Certificate Application Process, including application as a non-degree seeking student

  2. Official transcripts from all institutions of higher education that were attended by the applicant

  3. A resume or current vita

  4. A letter of interest stating the applicant’s experience and objectives in pursuing this course of study

Up to 12 hours of certificate course credits may be applied to a graduate degree with departmental approval.

Students admitted to the program are required to complete the Introduction to PBS Module. This module takes 45 to 60 minutes to complete and should provide all students with basic information about individualized interventions and the PBS systematic approach in educational settings. GRE testing is not required for admission to the certificate program.. However, International students must submit a TOEFL score when English is not the native language. A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test or 79 on the web-based test is required.
